On a summer afternoon in Hagerstown, Maryland, the life of 49-year-old Rusty Mark Edwards of Williamsport, MD, was tragically cut short. On July 18, 2024, Edwards was fatally shot at a residence on East Washington Street shortly before 1 p.m. Another man, Nathan Matthews, was also wounded in the incident and was subsequently transported to Meritus Medical Center for treatment. Edwards, however, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
