In the early evening hours of June 3, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the relative quiet of a Temple Hills, Maryland neighborhood, leaving a local man fatally wounded. Daysean Roberts, a 31-year-old male, was discovered outside a liquor store in the 3200 block of Naylor Road in the Hillcrest Heights area, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The call to the Prince George's County Police Department came in shortly after 7:00 p.m., summoning officers to a grim scene.
