On the evening of March 16, 2024, in Waldorf, Maryland, 18-year-old Jayden Samari Reed, a male resident of Waldorf, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8:37 p.m. in the 11300 block of Snow Owl Place, where Charles County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered Reed inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate medical attention provided by emergency medical services, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
