On the night of January 19, 2024, Mary Lou Schuman, a 60-year-old White female, was fatally shot in a double homicide in the Curtis Bay neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred at approximately 10:22 p.m. in the 4300 block of Pennington Avenue, outside of Sooner's Tavern. Schuman was at the location with her boyfriend to purchase a six-pack of beer when the shooting began.
