In the early evening of October 6, 2023, a sense of normalcy was shattered in an Oxon Hill, Maryland neighborhood. Kenyon Valentine, an 18-year-old male from Alexandria, Virginia, was found inside a vehicle in the 6800 block of Haven Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The discovery was made at approximately 5:45 PM, a time when the community was preparing for a local high school football game.
