In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Frederick, Maryland, the life of a young woman from Pennsylvania was tragically cut short. On August 23, 2023, police responded to a call of a firearm being discharged inside an apartment on Willowdale Drive. Upon their arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Kagina Marie Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Frederick Health Hospital, but her injuries proved to be fatal, and she was pronounced deceased.
