In the late hours of August 16, 2023, the life of Nykiah Imani Collins, a 24-year-old Black woman, was tragically cut short on the 1000 block of West Baltimore Street. At approximately 11:02 p.m., Baltimore Police Department's Southwest District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting.
