On the evening of August 4, 2023, in the Mount Clare neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore, 22-year-old Tiwan Wilson, a Black male, was shot and killed. At approximately 5:36 p.m., police responded to a report of gunfire in the 300 block of South Calhoun Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wilson inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
