On a summer evening in Capitol Heights, Maryland, the life of Isaac Jamio Jenkins, a 43-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On July 29, 2023, Jenkins was shot and killed in the 8500 block of Ashwood Drive. When Prince George's County police officers arrived at the scene around 9:20 p.m., they found Jenkins suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
