In the summer of 2023, a violent encounter in South Baltimore tragically cut short the life of 21-year-old Dashaun J. Waters. On the evening of July 25th, Waters was with a group of people in the 3200 block of Hollins Ferry Road. In a sudden and coordinated attack, three men reportedly opened fire on the gathering before making their escape in a silver Nissan driven by a fourth accomplice. The vehicle, which did not have a license plate, was recovered by authorities the following day.
