In the late summer of 2024, the life of 29-year-old Malik Moore of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was cut tragically short. Known affectionately to his friends and family as 'Leeko,' Moore was discovered lifeless in the driver's seat of a parked car on Fremont Avenue NW, near 12th Street. A neighbor made the grim discovery shortly before 8:00 a.m. on what reports indicate was either Wednesday, September 16th, or Wednesday, September 18th. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
