Willie Earl Ford Jr., a 43-year-old Black/African American man, was killed in Jackson, Mississippi, on the afternoon of December 28, 2023. Jackson police were called to the 1200 block of West Ridgeway Street shortly before 3:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Ford suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene before he could be transported for medical treatment.
