In the fall of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Teishun Norwood was tragically cut short by gun violence in Jackson, Mississippi. On September 27, Norwood, a young man who was looking forward to the birth of his daughter, was shot and killed. He was an alumnus of Pearl High School and Job Corps, known for his love of football, basketball, and fishing.
