Treston Brown, a 30-year-old Black man, was killed by gunfire on the morning of June 14, 2023, in Jackson, Mississippi. Around 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of La Salle Street and Clark Avenue in the city’s west side after a call that a person was down.
