In the early morning hours of a Saturday in September 2014, the West End neighborhood of Atlanta was disturbed by an act of violence that claimed the life of 39-year-old Sean Davis. A resident of Atlanta, the male victim was discovered by Atlanta police officers lying on a sidewalk near Lawton Street Southwest, situated beneath the I-20 overpass. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his neck and leg.
