In the late hours of a Monday evening in March 2014, the life of 33-year-old Randy Cherry was tragically cut short in his northwest Atlanta home. A friend, concerned after being unable to reach him, went to his residence on Bolton Road. Peering through a window, the friend made a grim discovery: Cherry was lying on a sofa, bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
