In the early evening of November 13, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, 16-year-old Andre Vidal Pride Jr. was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the Stonewood Apartments located in the 7500 block of East 85th Terrace. Responding to reports of a shooting, police officers discovered the male teenager unresponsive in a grassy area of the apartment complex, having sustained gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
