In the early hours of a Sunday morning in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood of St. Louis, a dispute between acquaintances turned deadly, leaving a young woman's life cut tragically short. Brittany Richie, a 26-year-old female, was found suffering from gunshot wounds on a sidewalk in the 2900 block of Thomas Avenue around 2:45 a.m. on March 3, 2024. Despite the prompt response from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Richie was pronounced dead at the scene.
