In the early evening of January 26, 2024, a dispute inside the Country View Market in Kansas City, Missouri, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Torrie’aunn Ruth. A male, Mr. Ruth was found by police near the storefront at 5802 Swope Parkway suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency services were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
