On January 25, 2024, fifteen-year-old Dalton Escobar-Piatcheck lost his life following a shooting incident inside a residence on Missouri Avenue in the South City area of Saint Louis, Missouri. Dalton, a male teenager described by his family as an energetic and good kid who was working to overcome past trauma, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
