Jayla Nicole Farr, a 21-year-old female, was fatally shot on the evening of May 2, 2023, in north St. Louis County. The incident occurred in the 10400 block of Halls Ferry Road, where a fight had broken out among several people outside a residence. When police arrived at approximately 9:30 p.m., they discovered Jayla deceased outside the home. Two other individuals, an 18-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy, were also injured in the shooting but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
