On the afternoon of March 14, 2023, a simple trip to the store for a loaf of bread turned into a tragedy for 65-year-old Nehemiah Clark. The male resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was in the parking lot of a Family Dollar on Blue Ridge Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m. when gunfire erupted.
