On the morning of Saturday, March 11, 2023, the quiet atmosphere of the Ellendale neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri, was shattered by violence. Shortly after 6:00 a.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 7100 block of Piccadilly Avenue.
