On April 26, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Buffalo Police responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Young and Ashley Streets, just south of Broadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Quentin Sims, a Buffalo resident, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, Sims was pronounced dead at the scene.
