On December 10, 2023, 44-year-old Demarkus Hodge was found deceased in the basement of his residence on the 300 block of Grider Street in Buffalo, New York. The Buffalo Police Department responded to a call reporting a dead body around 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hodge's body with a gunshot wound. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation, which led to the identification of 19-year-old Thierry Bikorimana as a suspect.
