On October 2, 2024, at approximately 8:20 a.m., Wilmington Police Department (WPD) officers responded to a report of an unconscious person in the 4000 block of Wilshire Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Caleb Osborn lying in the grass outside a nearby apartment complex, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
