On November 5, 2024, Jaysen Randall, a 20-year-old male, was caught in a burst of violence in the Sheldon Park area off Park Avenue in Harrison Township, in the Natrona Heights area of Allegheny County. It was early afternoon, just after 12:30 p.m. to about 12:50 p.m., when 911 calls brought police and medics rushing to the scene. When they arrived, Randall had been shot.
