On the evening of October 10, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in Philadelphia's Tioga neighborhood. When police responded to the scene on the 3700 block of North 15th Street at approximately 8:49 p.m., they found 37-year-old Thomas Debose, a Black / African American male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
