On the night of September 2, 2024, at approximately 10:29 p.m., Allentown police responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of West Liberty Street. Upon arrival, they learned that 39-year-old Terrence Brunson had been transported to St. Luke's Hospital's Sacred Heart Campus by private vehicle. Despite medical efforts, Brunson was pronounced dead in the emergency department at 11:19 p.m.
