In the summer of 2024, the life of a 27-year-old Black man, Terrell Da’Chaon Blanks, was abruptly and violently cut short on a sidewalk in Clairton, Pennsylvania. Known to his friends and family as 'Bixie,' Terrell was remembered for his sense of humor and his passion for writing music. A resident of nearby Homestead, he was a graduate of Steel Valley High School and worked as a skilled laborer. His life, however, took a tragic turn on the evening of July 12th.
