On the evening of May 30, 2024, Tre'Von James Beasley, a 25-year-old man from Delaware, was fatally shot in the Mantua section of Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. on the 3800 block of Brown Street, where Beasley was visiting his girlfriend. Officers from the Philadelphia Housing Authority police heard the gunshots and discovered Beasley at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
