Emerald H. Nugent Jr. was a 19-year-old Black/African American male from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose life ended in the early morning hours of September 22, 2023, after gunfire erupted inside Oakhurst Homes. Authorities said the shooting happened around 4:11 a.m. in Building 29 of the housing complex.
