On September 18, 2023, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a person with a weapon on the 2400 block of Aramingo Avenue in the Kensington neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Lucas L. Cordero, a resident of Memphis Street in Philadelphia, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene at 12:48 a.m.
