On the evening of June 9, 2023, 38-year-old Thomas "Tom" Dooner was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Tacony neighborhood. At approximately 8:36 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on the 7100 block of Jackson Street, where they found Dooner lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
