On the evening of May 1, 2023, 21-year-old Jordan James-Marquise Hayward was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Haddington neighborhood. At approximately 7:17 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire on the 200 block of North Robinson Street, where they found Jordan suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg and head. He was transported to Lankenau Medical Center and pronounced dead at 11:16 p.m.
