On February 1, 2023, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Murfreesboro Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2900 block of Pritchett Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Kendall Daron Storay in the passenger seat of a black Infiniti sedan, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel provided immediate care and transported him to Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
