On September 21, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 5100 block of East Imperial Highway in Lynwood, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Adrian Arturo Gaspar, a Hispanic male, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Gaspar was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner later confirmed that Gaspar's death was a homicide resulting from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:57 a.m.
As of now, authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects or arrests connected to Gaspar's death. Born on May 12, 1991, he is survived by his children, Ariel and Aziel Gaspar; his parents, Sabino and Florencia Gaspar; and his siblings, Mayra, Guadalupe, Rigoberto, Jorge, and Axel Gaspar. Funeral services are being coordinated by Funeraria del Angel Bell in Bell, California.
