On August 17, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., 21-year-old Christopher Worthy was fatally shot in southwest Fresno, California. The Fresno Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating six gunshots near Santa Clara Avenue and B Street. Upon arrival, officers found Worthy unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in front of an apartment complex. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
