On September 3, 2017, Jeremy Tang, aged 20, was shot and killed in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Chicago. He was sitting in his car on 102nd Street with a friend when an unknown assailant approached and shot him in the chest. The incident occurred late at night, and Tang was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
