On January 1, 2024, Brent Wills, a 24-year-old resident of Palmdale, California, was fatally shot at a New Year's Eve party. The incident occurred around 6:25 a.m. in the 38700 block of 2nd Street East. Upon arrival, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies found Wills suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the manner of death as homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported that a New Year's Eve party was ongoing at the residence when the shooting occurred.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects.
