Joaquin Navarrette

On May 17, 2023, at approximately 3:35 p.m., 28-year-old Joaquin Navarrete was fatally shot outside his residence in the 300 block of South L Street in Madera, California, near Madera High School. Responding to multiple reports of gunfire, officers found Navarrete in his front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance from both police and paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
