On February 17, 2023, at approximately 1:12 a.m., Ventura County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon at a residence on Sandra Court in Newbury Park, California. Upon arrival, they encountered 33-year-old Brennan Post and other family members residing in the home. Deputies learned that Post had shot his sister, 25-year-old Cassidy Snow, who was found in her bedroom and pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
