On January 14, 2023, at approximately 4:55 a.m., 31-year-old Christopher Soto was found deceased on a sidewalk in East Los Angeles, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of South Arizona Avenue, where they discovered Soto with a gunshot wound to the chest. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
