Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Lorenzo Casas lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to his torso. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office later identified Casas as the victim. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the aftermath of the incident, authorities reported that there was no information available regarding any suspects or suspect vehicles involved in the shooting. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau took over the investigation, urging anyone with information to come forward.
