On August 27, 2024, 31-year-old Cassandra Jaramillo was fatally shot in Kemah, Texas. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of East Winn Street, where a dispute over a wrecked car escalated into violence. During the altercation, Jaramillo sustained fatal gunshot wounds, and an unidentified adult male was injured.
