Death by Force

On June 6, 2024, 19-year-old Darius "DJ" Jamal Brooks was fatally shot in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the 7200 block of Tin Star Drive, near Eagle Mountain. Following the shooting, Brooks attempted to flee the scene by car with several witnesses. Tragically, the vehicle crashed into a nearby home on Silver City Drive. Brooks succumbed to his injuries, and a passenger sustained injuries from the crash and was transported to a local hospital.
