On May 5, 2023, 19-year-old Gavin Khiem Tran and his friend, 20-year-old Khoi Tran, were fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 8217 Fulton Street in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 6 p.m.
