In the early evening of November 26, 2024, police in Elkhart, Indiana, responded to a call about an unresponsive male on the 700 block of Monroe Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 32-year-old Toby Ray Fisher, who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy later confirmed that a gunshot wound was the cause of death, and the manner was ruled a homicide.
