Cornelius McDonald, a 33-year-old male from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was a community activist and artist who was well-known and loved throughout the DMV area. Tragically, his life was cut short in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 30, 2024. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the parking lot of Jasper's Restaurant in Largo, where McDonald was fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
