In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Bassfield, Mississippi, the sounds of a lively bonfire party with around 200 attendees were pierced by the echo of gunshots. Just after midnight on December 1, 2024, multiple calls alerted the Jefferson Davis County Sheriff's Department to the shooting.
